This is a late-summer supper I made last year. I remember the broad beans being retrieved from a vegetable subscription box that was handed down to us from a housemate’s brother who couldn’t find the time to prepare the remaining ingredients - an example here of Floffal #scavenger mentality.
The lamb’s liver is pan-fried with generous twists of black pepper, and left to rest to the juices can reabsorb slightly (and also avoid too much salad droop-age). Knowing me, the salad would have been from the reduced section that day, too…
